Sermorelin 5 mg by British Dragon Pharmaceuticals
Sermorelin 5 mg is a research peptide from British Dragon Pharmaceuticals. Its active substance is Sermorelin, a growth hormone releasing peptide that copies the natural GHRH message from the brain. Every vial holds 5 mg of lyophilized powder, mixed before use.
The point of interest for most labs is that Sermorelin works through the pituitary. Growth hormone given directly arrives as one flat dose, while Sermorelin lets the body answer with its own pulse.
What Sermorelin Does In The Body
The pituitary has GHRH receptors on its surface. When Sermorelin binds them, the gland releases stored growth hormone. The release follows the natural rhythm, which matters in studies on sleep, recovery and hormone output across a full day.
Research Uses For Sermorelin 5 mg
Pituitary function - tested for how the gland answers a signal.
Growth hormone output - studied across a full day, not a single point.
Sleep and recovery - looked at because GH peaks during deep sleep.
Body composition - examined for lean mass and fat changes in models.
Hormone ageing - studied as natural GHRH falls over the years.
These are research findings only. Sermorelin 5 mg is sold for laboratory work, not as a medicine.
Keep the sealed vial cool, dark and dry. After mixing, store it in a fridge between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius and use it within a few weeks. Never shake the vial. Roll it gently between your hands to mix, and keep every tool clean.
Is Sermorelin a steroid? No. It is a peptide that signals the pituitary. Our category pages carry the steroid label for site structure, not because of the substance.
Do I need a prescription? No. You can buy Sermorelin 5 mg without prescription from our shop.
How long does mixed Sermorelin keep? A few weeks in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. Keep the powder dry until you are ready to use it.

How the math works
1. Find the concentration
Divide the peptide in the vial by the water added. For example, 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL, which is 2,500 mcg/mL
2. Work out the volume
Divide the dose by the concentration. For example, 100 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.04 mL
3. Convert to units
On a U-100 syringe, multiply the mL by 100. For example, 0.04 mL = 4 units
4. Check the syringe
Make sure the amount fits the syringe you are using
Worked example
Vial
5 mg sermorelin
Water
2 mL bacteriostatic water
Dose

Syringe
100 units (1 mL)
Concentration
5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2,500 mcg/mL
Amount to draw
100 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.04 mL, which is 4 units on a U-100 syringe

Reconstitution & Storage
Mixing a peptide takes about a minute. Keeping it good afterwards is the part most people get wrong, so follow the guide below and then store the vial the way we describe underneath it.
How to Reconstitute
Follow the five steps in the guide above. Bring the vial and the diluent to room temperature first, add the bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall so it does not foam and swirl gently until the powder is fully dissolved. Never shake the vial and never spray the bacteriostatic water straight onto the powder.
How to Store the Mixed Peptide
Once it is mixed, the vial goes back in the refrigerator at 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F) and stays there until you have used it. Write the mixing date on the vial so the clock is visible, not remembered.
Temperature: a normal fridge, 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F). Not the freezer, not a kitchen cupboard.
Shelf life: about 4 weeks. Past 28 days, discard it.
Light: keep it in the box or a dark drawer. Direct light degrades peptides.
Handling: swab the stopper before each draw, use a fresh needle and never shake the vial. Swirl gently if it needs mixing.
Freezing: do not freeze a mixed solution. Ice crystals and freeze-thaw cycles cut potency.
Dispose if: the liquid turns cloudy, changes colour, or shows visible particles.
Unmixed powder is far easier to store. Keep it dry, out of light, at room temperature for short periods or at -20°C for the long term and reconstitute only what you plan to use.
