MOTS-c 10mg From Kalpa Pharmaceuticals
MOTS-c 10mg is a mitochondrial derived peptide made by Kalpa Pharmaceuticals LTD, India. The active substance is MOTS-c, sometimes written as Mitochondrial Peptide. Each vial contains 10 mg of lyophilized powder and you add bacteriostatic water before use.
MOTS-c is a short chain of 16 amino acids that the mitochondria produce. Research on it grew fast because it links energy production to how the whole body handles fuel.
Research Areas For MOTS-c 10mg
Studies using this peptide tend to look at:
Cellular energy - how mitochondria keep working under stress.
Glucose handling - tested for the way cells take up glucose.
Metabolic stress - examined in models of poor diet and inactivity.
Muscle fuel use - looked at for how muscle picks its energy source.
Longevity research - studied because levels drop as we get older.
These are research findings only. MOTS-c 10mg is sold for laboratory work, not as a medicine.
Kalpa supplies this vial in a 10 mg size, which gives enough material for repeat runs from a single batch.
Storing MOTS-c 10mg
Store the sealed vial away from light in a cool, dry spot. Once mixed, keep it cold between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius and use it within a few weeks. Do not shake it. Roll it between your hands instead, and work with clean tools every time.
Is MOTS-c a peptide or a protein? A peptide. It is only 16 amino acids long, which is far too short to count as a protein.
Do I need a prescription? No. You can buy MOTS-c 10mg without prescription from our shop.
Why do labs pick the 10 mg vial? 10 mg covers several test runs, so the study stays on one batch from start to finish.

Key facts
Approval status
A peptide made in the mitochondria; there is no FDA-approved dose or clinical protocol
Usual route
Injection under the skin (subcutaneous)
Sports testing
USADA lists MOTS-c as an experimental drug, so no therapeutic use exemption is possible; the WADA 2026 Prohibited List applies from January 1, 2026
Possible side effects
Reactions at the injection spot, changes in energy, poor sleep, swings in blood sugar
Do not use if
Pregnant, breastfeeding, with a history of cancer, with organ impairment, or a tested athlete
Combining with other products
Using it together with GLP-1 drugs, stimulants, thyroid medication, or other peptides makes side effects harder to trace

How the math works
1. Find the concentration
Divide the peptide in the vial by the water added. For example, 10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL
2. Work out the volume
Divide the dose by the concentration. For example, 5 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 1 mL
3. Convert to units
On a U-100 syringe, multiply the mL by 100. For example, 1 mL = 100 units
4. Check the syringe
Make sure the amount fits the syringe you are using
Worked example
Vial
10 mg MOTS-c
Water
2 mL bacteriostatic water
Dose
5 mg
Syringe
100 units (1 mL)
Concentration
10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL
Amount to draw
5 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 1 mL, which is 100 units on a U-100 syringe
Doses in the vial
10 mg ÷ 5 mg = 2 doses
Vial size vs dose
A vial marked "10 mg" holds 10 mg in total before it is mixed. It is not a single dose, and it does not mean you use the whole vial. The amount per dose depends on how much water you add and what your clinician prescribes. For example, 10 mg mixed with 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL, so a 2.5 mg dose is 0.5 mL, which is 50 units on a U-100 syringe.

Reconstitution & Storage
Mixing a peptide takes about a minute. Keeping it good afterwards is the part most people get wrong, so follow the guide below and then store the vial the way we describe underneath it.
How to Reconstitute
Follow the five steps in the guide above. Bring the vial and the diluent to room temperature first, add the bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall so it does not foam and swirl gently until the powder is fully dissolved. Never shake the vial and never spray the bacteriostatic water straight onto the powder.
How to Store the Mixed Peptide
Once it is mixed, the vial goes back in the refrigerator at 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F) and stays there until you have used it. Write the mixing date on the vial so the clock is visible, not remembered.
Temperature: a normal fridge, 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F). Not the freezer, not a kitchen cupboard.
Shelf life: about 4 weeks. Past 28 days, discard it.
Light: keep it in the box or a dark drawer. Direct light degrades peptides.
Handling: swab the stopper before each draw, use a fresh needle and never shake the vial. Swirl gently if it needs mixing.
Freezing: do not freeze a mixed solution. Ice crystals and freeze-thaw cycles cut potency.
Dispose if: the liquid turns cloudy, changes colour, or shows visible particles.
Unmixed powder is far easier to store. Keep it dry, out of light, at room temperature for short periods or at -20°C for the long term and reconstitute only what you plan to use.
