What Is TB 500?
TB 500 is a research peptide from British Dragon Pharmaceuticals. Its active substance is Thymosin beta 4, a peptide of 43 amino acids that the body makes on its own. Each vial holds 5 mg per ml in a 2 ml vial, supplied as a lyophilized powder.
Thymosin beta 4 works with actin, the protein that lets cells move and reshape. That is the reason it turns up in so much research on tissue that has to rebuild itself.
Why Researchers Buy TB 500
Most lab work with TB 500 covers:
Tendon and ligament repair - studied in models of connective tissue healing.
Wound closure - tested for how fast skin and soft tissue rebuild.
Muscle repair - examined after heavy mechanical stress.
Inflammation research - looked at for swelling markers after injury.
Cell migration - studied for how repair cells travel to a damaged site.
These are research findings only. TB 500 is sold for laboratory work, not as a medicine.
What You Get In Each TB 500 Vial
Manufacturer: British Dragon Pharmaceuticals
Pharmaceutical name: Thymosin beta 4
Pack: 2 ml vial, 5 mg per ml
Form: lyophilized powder for stability
Because the powder is dried, the vial keeps well until you are ready to mix it.
How To Store TB 500
Keep the sealed vial in a cool, dark and dry place. Once mixed, store it in a fridge between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius and use it within a few weeks. Do not shake the vial. Roll it gently between your hands to mix, and always use clean tools.
Is TB 500 the same as Thymosin beta 4? Yes. TB 500 is the shortened name used in the fitness world for Thymosin beta 4.
Do I need a prescription? No. You can buy TB 500 without prescription from our shop.
Why does the label say 5 mg per ml? It shows the concentration of the vial after you mix it. The full 2 ml vial holds 10 mg of peptide.

How the math works
1. Find the concentration
Divide the peptide in the vial by the water added. For example, 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL, which is 2,500 mcg/mL
2. Work out the volume
Divide the dose by the concentration. For example, 100 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.04 mL
3. Convert to units
On a U-100 syringe, multiply the mL by 100. For example, 0.04 mL = 4 units
4. Check the syringe
Make sure the amount fits the syringe you are using
Worked example
Vial
5 mg TB-500
Water
2 mL bacteriostatic water
Dose
100 mcg
Syringe
100 units (1 mL)
Concentration
5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2,500 mcg/mL
Amount to draw
100 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.04 mL, which is 4 units on a U-100 syringe

Reconstitution & Storage
Mixing a peptide takes about a minute. Keeping it good afterwards is the part most people get wrong, so follow the guide below and then store the vial the way we describe underneath it.
How to Reconstitute
Follow the five steps in the guide above. Bring the vial and the diluent to room temperature first, add the bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall so it does not foam and swirl gently until the powder is fully dissolved. Never shake the vial and never spray the bacteriostatic water straight onto the powder.
How to Store the Mixed Peptide
Once it is mixed, the vial goes back in the refrigerator at 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F) and stays there until you have used it. Write the mixing date on the vial so the clock is visible, not remembered.
Temperature: a normal fridge, 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F). Not the freezer, not a kitchen cupboard.
Shelf life: about 4 weeks. Past 28 days, discard it.
Light: keep it in the box or a dark drawer. Direct light degrades peptides.
Handling: swab the stopper before each draw, use a fresh needle and never shake the vial. Swirl gently if it needs mixing.
Freezing: do not freeze a mixed solution. Ice crystals and freeze-thaw cycles cut potency.
Dispose if: the liquid turns cloudy, changes colour, or shows visible particles.
Unmixed powder is far easier to store. Keep it dry, out of light, at room temperature for short periods or at -20°C for the long term and reconstitute only what you plan to use.
