What Is Ipamorelin 5mg?
Ipamorelin 5mg is a research peptide from British Dragon Pharmaceuticals. Its active substance is Ipamorelin, a growth hormone secretagogue that signals the pituitary to release more growth hormone. Every vial holds 5 mg of lyophilized powder, mixed with bacteriostatic water before lab use.
Ipamorelin is known as a selective secretagogue. In studies it raises growth hormone without pushing up cortisol, prolactin or appetite the way older peptides do.
Why Researchers Pick Ipamorelin 5mg
Most lab work with Ipamorelin covers:
Growth hormone release - studied for the size and shape of the GH pulse.
Selectivity research - tested for its clean profile next to other secretagogues.
Body composition studies - examined for lean mass and fat changes in models.
Recovery research - used in work on tissue repair after training stress.
Sleep studies - looked at for slow wave sleep and natural GH rhythm.
All of this is laboratory research. Ipamorelin 5mg is not a medicine and is not sold for human use.

How To Store Ipamorelin 5mg
Keep the sealed vial cool, dark and dry. After mixing, store it in a fridge between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius and use it within a few weeks. Never shake the vial, roll it gently between your hands to mix, and always work with clean tools.
How is Ipamorelin different from GHRP-6? Ipamorelin is more selective. Older peptides tend to raise hunger and other hormones along with growth hormone.
Do I need a prescription? No. You can buy Ipamorelin 5mg without prescription from our shop.
Which vial size should I pick? 5 mg suits small test batches. Compare the sizes on our Peptides and SARMS page if you need more.

How the math works
1. Find the concentration
Divide the peptide in the vial by the water added. For example, 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL, which is 2,500 mcg/mL
2. Work out the volume
Divide the dose by the concentration. For example, 100 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.04 mL
3. Convert to units
On a U-100 syringe, multiply the mL by 100. For example, 0.04 mL = 4 units
4. Check the syringe
Make sure the amount fits the syringe you are using
Worked example
Vial

Water
2 mL bacteriostatic water
Dose

Concentration

Amount to draw
100 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.04 mL, which is 4 units on a U-100 syringe

Reconstitution & Storage
Mixing a peptide takes about a minute. Keeping it good afterwards is the part most people get wrong, so follow the guide below and then store the vial the way we describe underneath it.
How to Reconstitute
Follow the five steps in the guide above. Bring the vial and the diluent to room temperature first, add the bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall so it does not foam and swirl gently until the powder is fully dissolved. Never shake the vial and never spray the bacteriostatic water straight onto the powder.
How to Store the Mixed Peptide
Once it is mixed, the vial goes back in the refrigerator at 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F) and stays there until you have used it. Write the mixing date on the vial so the clock is visible, not remembered.
Temperature: a normal fridge, 2 to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F). Not the freezer, not a kitchen cupboard.
Shelf life: about 4 weeks. Past 28 days, discard it.
Light: keep it in the box or a dark drawer. Direct light degrades peptides.
Handling: swab the stopper before each draw, use a fresh needle and never shake the vial. Swirl gently if it needs mixing.
Freezing: do not freeze a mixed solution. Ice crystals and freeze-thaw cycles cut potency.
Dispose if: the liquid turns cloudy, changes colour, or shows visible particles.
Unmixed powder is far easier to store. Keep it dry, out of light, at room temperature for short periods or at -20°C for the long term and reconstitute only what you plan to use.
